Community groups

Choose to partner your Rotary Club, Soroptimist or WI with Kids Club Kampala, and join us in moving children and families from surviving to thriving.

Partnering for good

By choosing to partner with Kids Club Kampala, your Rotary Club, Soroptimist, WI or community group will be taking an active role in helping children and families who are living in the slums in Kampala. There are so many ways you  can get involved, and we would love to have you on this journey with us.

From fundraising, sponsoring  a child, setting up a regular gift or helping us spread the word, your support will have a direct impact on the communities we work with.

1

Invite a  speaker

Help us spread the word by inviting a member of our team to one of your meetings to talk about Kids Club Kampala’s work. Speaker events can be done virtually or in person. We ask for a speaker fee to cover the travel cost for our team, and ensure that all money goes where it is most needed.

2

 Fundraise
with your members

Get together as a community group to raise money for a good cause. You could put on a quiz night, coffee morning, craft sale or bake off. We will be there every step of the way to support you in your fundraising!

3

Sponsor a child

Sponsoring a child is a great way to bring your members together for a joint cause. Education in Uganda isn't free, and many children end up missing out on an education. You will receive regular updates on the child's progress and see first hand the impact you are making.

Hear from one of our community partners

"Peterston WI were so impressed with the presentation at one of our regular WI meetings. The photos of the slums the children were living in and the great work you were doing was humbling. After the talk a few of were chatting about it and said we would like to be able to help a child. 19 of us wanted to do this. We all pay £3 per month (less than a cup of coffee) per month to support both Karim and Naome. We also have a collection box at our meetings and any money collected goes towards a food parcel for the families. I would highly recommend that you offer talks any WI type groups. We love the photos and reports and are pleased to be making a difference"
